Everything you need to feel ready.
Program details are customized to the group, but these answers explain the principles behind scheduling, live animal interaction, accessibility and mobile setup.
What ages do you serve?
Wild Curiosity Adventures is designed primarily for preschool through elementary learners, with content and activities scaled by developmental level, group needs and learning goals.
Do children have to touch the animals?
No. Touch opportunities are optional, animal-dependent and secondary to observation and learning. A child can fully participate without touching an animal.
Which animals will come?
Programs may include reptiles and invertebrates such as snakes, lizards, tortoises, geckos, roaches, insects and other appropriate ambassadors. Exact species are never guaranteed because animal welfare, health and program goals come first.
Can programs support NGSS learning?
Yes. Individual program pages identify NGSS-connected themes and science/engineering practices. Final connections can be shaped around the selected grade and classroom goals.
What is a Field Trip Brought to You?
It is an on-campus experience that can combine multiple rotating learning stations—such as live animals, habitat/adaptation investigation and a hands-on STEAM challenge—without transporting students off campus.
How many students can participate?
That depends on program choice, room setup, school schedule and whether you select a classroom program, repeated rotations or a multi-station field trip. We design the format around your enrollment rather than forcing every group into one size.
Are programs sensory-aware?
They can be. We welcome advance information about sensory, communication, mobility or participation needs. Predictable flow, physical space, observation-only participation and alternative engagement can be planned when appropriate.
Can I book animals and a STEAM activity together?
Yes. Combining a live-animal encounter with a build-test-improve challenge is one of the signature Wild Curiosity formats.
Do you offer birthdays and family events?
Yes. Families can choose an animal-focused experience, animals plus hands-on STEAM, or a flexible discovery-station format for larger events.
Where do you travel?
The current service area is San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial County. Travel fees begin at $20 and up and vary by location; final travel availability is confirmed with your inquiry.
How do I get pricing?
Education programs are $350 for one classroom, with additional classrooms booked the same day at $250 each. Birthday parties are $350. Travel fees begin at $20 and up and vary by location. Larger multi-station events may require a custom quote.
What space do you need?
A defined presentation or activity area with safe access, reasonable visibility and weather protection is ideal. Specific setup needs are confirmed when the program is scheduled.
Still deciding what fits?
You do not need to know the exact program before reaching out. Tell us your audience and goal, and we can recommend the strongest option.
